Question for forum: How many other posters know you?

I know some of you guys know other people in the forum and probably talk to them via the phone or meet them in person....friends....

I was thinking about a thread awhile back one of the sportsbooks started and told of one of our members passing......

Short of a sportsbook knowing you or another poster knowing you......

What's to keep somebody here from choking on a bag of corn chips and dying....he doesn't post anymore and nobody knows his fate and whether or not the guy died or just quit posting for some reason?

I always see posts as to "where is so-and-so, I haven't seen him post for awhile?"

How many of you posters in here, if you succumbed to that evil bag of corn chips, would have somebody that knows you well enough to know that you died and could tell the rest of us in here?

Well I was one of the MIA for about 5 months...if I kicked the bucket now I have a poster that would know (LSUGambler). Plus the lack of in-your-face Eagles threads would decline and I would hate to deprive the board of that. :103631605

I have met about 100 or so posters and shared a hello , how are you with them.. at the other 2 bashes...I do not KNOW them per say, but it is nice to put a face to a screen name....

I know 3 other posters, but two of them are my brothers, and I work with old dirty ku.
Hoping to meet some more at the bash, unless I drink too much and pass out on the floor or black out. :drink:

know one poster that could vouch for me dying of alcohol poisoning. Have met a few others, most notable being PHISHHEAD and also KYHAWK.

One other thought about this......came up on another forum I posted this in....

How many of you guys leave access to your offshore accounts to your survivors should you keel over from a heart attack when that field goal sails wide right and douches half your balance?

Any thoughts as to how many dormant accounts are out there because the owner died?

As I said in the other one.....for me, no one else knows my accounts....my gambling is mainly peanuts compared to what FISHHEAD or someone else here bets.....if I died on a Friday there might be a balance available for my survivors, let me live through the weekend and come Monday, nevermind survivors cuz I busted out....

kermit.....God now I remember that game....that was actually from a time in my life when I wasn't gambling, didn't know or care what the spread was, and was watching the game just for the sheer pleasure of it......it was still just a game and I was elated just because it was a game and elated that it was a superbowl....I cheered for games back then and my wallet was never in the equation.....the good ole days...

Wide right probably would have effected some of those Miami/FSU bettors in the early '90's.......

I would love to be @ the bash to meet some of you. I know I live in the same town as Mn Del & Hansen, don`t know them tho. Have formed a nice back & forth w/Dan Tana in this forum. We could always start a "Rogues Gallery".

:lolBIG: Yes, that was a game for the ages and now that I have heard some of the things that have happened to Kelly and his family... I sure wish the ball had sailed through the uprights !
