A Word about the Rx. Bash

Just a reminder - when you arrive at The Golden Nugget to check in please mention you are there to attend The Prescription.com 3rd Annual Bash and you will recieve a letter of the intinerary plus a Players Card.

The Poker Torunament at noon on Saturday will be played in The Bel Air Ballroom.

The Reception Dinner will also be held in the Bel Air Ballroom beginning at 8PM and ending at Midnight. Dress is casual, and there will be a disc jockey for dancing and listening pleasure. The bar will be open, natrually it is up to you whether or not you care to tip food servers and cocktail waitresses.

Regarding the Player Cards, please USE them when you gamble at the Nugget and ask your guests to do the same. The Golden Nugget is great, and you will be invited back by them if they know you are a player, not to mention you are helping The Rx. to stay a welcome guest by your play.

We are going to have the two Factor of Fear blackjack hands at approx. 7PM in the main casino and all Rxers and their guests are invited to watch. We are timing this so you can dress for the Reception Dinner then witness the hand and shortly after attend the dinner. I don't know how much space will be available around the balckjack table, (most likely in the VIP BJ pit) hopefully anyone interested will be able to see the hands.

Locals and anyone attending The Bash who is not staying at The Nugget can get the informational letter at guest check in. Locals, and guests of other hotels are encouraged by The Rx. to ask for a Golden Nugget Players Card also, it is important to demonstrate to The Golden Nugget that we really are gamblers.

The Rx. Moderator staff will be glad to assist any Rxers whenever possible, I look foward to meeting you all.

Also...Just an FYI.. when you start arriving at the BASH BAnquet at 8pm there will be a table at the entrance where Myself and Bucsfan or another Mod will give you a raffle ticket (ONE PER POSTER OR MOD only NO guests sorry) as you enter PLEASE do not LOSE it ...that is good for all the prize drawings of the night.:toast:

always that way if you put the card in the slot , the service can keep track of your strokes and you may qualify for an all you can eat buffet:lolBIG:

And FYI...for those arriving thursday or friday during the day and want to meet some Rx'ers, there are usually a bunch of Rx'ers down at the sports bar....gambling of all things!!!!!

exactly....a few NEVER leave it ..:smoker2: I am dead serious they NEVER leave...They are there at 9am and stay until 5am...even when the bar shuts down and there is some Elvis Impersonator on the little stage next to the Sports bar doing his thing and all the TV'S are shut off...THEY ARE THERE:smoker2: !!

Hopefully this is the last RX thread about the bash, there have been quite a few. I want to come meet some folks on Friday so trying to find out who will be in town early Friday afternoon, at the golden nugget, at the sports bar. Sounds like Panther for sure, 6'4" 260 should be easy to find...or maybe not.

Kojak, did you shore up your plans for Friday Night? Let me know what your plans are, at one point it sounded like you had a group of RXers hitting the town.

Charlie, please ask the people at check in which card you need to use. Hopefully your regular card will be OK. We need to make sure any Rxers that gamble at the Nugget use cards that will go towards the total gambled by us.

WC....I am 5' 10", "mature looking" (nicer words than old) gray haired guy who looks like Sean Connery...goatee etc and spiked gray hair...C U there and look forward to getting some of your West Coast insight which I have always found to be very useful!!!!.....PS..that old looking guy with me will be Coach LT who really thinks he knows the Florida football.....LOL
