i want you guys to come over and talk to me. i want to talk blackjack strategy.
a guy at work told me that i have to play a different strategy, because it will be just me and the dealer. i will be at sports book friday and saturday. i will be
wearing my steeler hat, have a racing form, and drinking bud light. anyone know the name of the nearest bar to the sportsbook. i have to let co-workers know where i'll be an hour before the biggest game of my life.

FWIW, my opinion is Black Jack is Black Jack and you should go in with your normal approach to the game. HOWEVER, you may need to rely on your gut instincts as well in a difficult spot. Just consider your options and go.

Don't forget you are in a no loose situation, and have fun!

Play optimum basic strategy and hope for the best.

There is a bar within 15 feet of the BJ high roller area at the GN

NO

All GN craps tables are RARELY, if ever, below $5 minimum.

What`s the setup, i.e. joe gets 11, dlr 5 up is dbl available or does he have to just play it as a straight up 11? Also on pairs 2 7`s against a 7, can he split? What are the rules? And Joe your friend at work is wrong. This is no different strategicly than any other hand, just the reward is greater. Play it straight basic strategy, as someone said you`re in a "no lose position". How about a nice QH AS to take away all thought. Best of luck!!

Have never played a hand of casino blackjack in my life so...are others allowed to be there with him to tell him what to do or does he have to make the decision himself?

GIJoe, you're thinking way too hard about this. It will be a no brainer decision, and if it's not, there will be a lot of people to let you know what the right decision is.

if the dealer has a 2-6 showing you STAND if you can go bust

If the dealer has a 7-10 showing and you have less the 17... you almost HAVE to hit

its very easy stragedy
