I'm not a local, but you just take I 15 all the way in and the exit will say Downtown Las Vegas. Very easy.

If you're coming in from I-15, You actually have to get onto 95/93 South towards Phoenix in order to exit into Downtown Casinos. It will be your very first exit on your right after getting onto 95 S

Coming in on I-15 from California, go past Tropicana, Flamingo,Spring Mountain and Sahara exits, and exit on Charleston East (a right hand turn onto Charleston). go two blocks or so

Turn Left (North) on Main St, go about 7 blocks

Turn Right (East) on Bridger, go one block

Turn Left on 1st Street. Golden Nugget will be on the right, self parking on the left.

Following signs to downtown takes you through the big I-15/I-95 interchange, known as the spaghetti bowl, which can have brutal traffic on a Friday afternoon/evening, plus it overshoots your destination since the Golden Nugget is on the South Side of Fremont st, which of course doesn't actually allow car traffic anymore in the downtown area.

You'll get there just fine, they don't hide the casinos ! Perhaps get off at Charleston exit ? It's fifferent now since they closed Fremont st, but not radically changed.

On a Friday afternnoon the trip from Trop to the interchange is slower than the ride in from Barstow.

Perfect directions coming from Calif :103631605 Of course every newcomer should really have the experience of navigating the spaghetti bowl once in their lifetime ! LOL

The signs for Downtown take you right there, though. I wasn't even aware that you got on 93, but now that I think about it, you are right. You are on 93 for about a quarter mile. But I think it's safe to say that he won't have any problems finding the place.

Great tip to get off on Charleston. That interchange beyond Charleston exit can be a real mess. (Ex-LV cabbie.)
