Poll: Cards or Padres?

Sorry Max - don't mean to copy you, but just trying to get some feelers out there on what people think about the following two games:

Cardinals (Marquis) vs. DBacks (Vargas)
Marquis = 1.59 ERA, .185 in 4 career games (3 started) vs ARI.
I know he's been pretty bad in his last 7-8 starts, but he's done well against Arizona. While I know Vargas is throwing a nice strike these days, can the bats of St. Louis put up enough runs to beat him?

Padres (Peavy) vs. Marlins (Beckett)
Peavy is 2-1 with a 2.18 ERA and .247 avg against FLA in 3 games started vs. FLA. He's 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA in his last 3 outings. Can he pull it off against Beckett and the Cabrera/Delgado combo?

Just wanted to take a poll to gather thoughts on whether to take one of these games or lay off. Any responses are appreciated! Thanks and good luck today!

Tulsa,
I have been on a major slide and decided to take a little time off from posting to get my head together. The one black Friday kept me REALLY down. People like Chop and Bucs just keep on going after the hurdles. I need to take that same approach I guess.

Today, I like Phillies (Lidle) over Nats. Lidle is 5-0 with a 2.54 career against Nats. Wouldn't be surprised at the under as well, but I'll stick with the moneyline on this one.

Also am on the Cards with Marquis. Just love the Cards in the matchup. Lots of people are staying away because of Vargas pitching out of his mind. I'll take the Cards though.
