Ok, I am just curious. The lines for the following Saturday are posted late on Sunday.

If a book is going to book, let's say for this example, one million dollars in college football for the week, how much of that one million is booked at the following times:

Between Sunday Night & Monday Morning at 11:00am
Between Monday Morning & Friday Morning at 11:00am
Between Friday Morning & Friday Night at Midnight
Between Midnight Friday and Kickoff on Saturday

Just curious to see when the money comes in for the Saturday games. That's all.

Thank,

Certainly don't know the percentages

but I would suspect that more money is bet from Friday morning on (in your final two time periods) than between Sunday night and Friday morning. However, I certainly could be wrong and have nothing solid to base this opinion.

However, there is certainly a lot of money bet on favorites by "sharps" Sunday night when the opening numbers come out starting around 7 p.m. Central. These same sharps _ by and large _ wait to bet the big money on the underdogs since roughly two-thirds of the lines are going to move higher on the favorite.

Interesting question though.

By the way, which part of Texas? I'm in the pineywoods near Tyler.

P.S. _ Also went to the Texas-Oklahoma State game in 1999 and was able to visit the highly-reputed Eskimo Joe's!

80%+ in the last cat, most of the books don't open up the limits until Saturday morning.
