Not that it would be a shock to me if almost EVERYONE in MLB tested positive for something. But WOW on those two names.

That would be UNBELIEVABLE. Would also diminish everything Rocket's done this year...and he could kiss the Cy Young goodbye. I hope he doesn't test positive.

weird,

A friend of mine is a producer at ESPN and told me the same thing this afternoon.

The fact that two of us have the same info makes me believe it is not true.

BUT if it is, that sucks for baseball.

I heard the Clemens rumor Yesterday. This is the first I've heard Damon.

I'm guessing its an internet rumor.

REPORTS:

ok, supposedly theres 2 guys, one in the american league, one in the national, who have gone all the way through the appeal process.

one is a bigger name than palmiero, which basically mens future hall of famer, and both played in this years all star game, which narrows it down a lot. takes sosa off the list.

The 10 days is no problem. It's what this does to their image that's so damaging.

Like the sosa corked bat, he misses just a few games but people still give him hell for it.

I simply put it out there as something I heard from three different places. I put UNCONFIRMED in caps three times as I am skeptical of these rumors.

Atleast I'm not one of the only ones to hear this.

Clemens name was posted Yesterday on a Red Sox message board. It said Rumors from Bristol. It was from a Poster that didn't normally post there.

I think someone is spreading it... and doing a good job.

My goodness KOI, you can actually keep up with the SOSH board?! Hats off to you. There's just so much darn stuff to sift through, a typical thread has like 30 pages just talking about if so and so is getting enough action on his slider. Devoted!

No I'm with you on the Sons of Sam Horn.

Simple Yahoo board, although at times that can be a bit much even.

Always thought Clemens was juiced. People compare Barry Bonds' look in his Pittsburgh days with his modern juiced look.

Do the same thing with Clemens. He was a relative stringbean when he first came out of Texas. He must have gained 60 pounds since then. Think he's gotten a free pass all this time.

I'll tell ya what: if Clemens is suspended for 10 days, the Astros won't win the wild card. Sure, that's only 2 starts, but the sheer momentum killer alone might do the same to their playoff hopes. Potentially devastating to Houston's psyche.

So I take back that earlier comment. I hope he's suspended. Go Nats!
