Im thinking about playing strictly online. Been playing at the casino for a few years starting out at 3/6 limit and eventually working my way up to to 5/10, 10/20 then 100 max buy in NL and 200 max buy in NL with good results for profits. Usually I play for an average 8 hour session, sometimes more, sometimes less, depending. Online im fairly new, only been playing small time stakes for less than 3 months at 1/2 limit, 50c/1 NL, sit n gos no higher than 15 buy in and some cheaper mtt trny no higher than 15, just to test the waters. So far ive im about even online. Seen alot of bad beats and suckouts more so than live. Im having better results at this point at the casino, but its a hassle. Call in, waiting list, the drive, rake, etc. The casino charges 6 bucks every half hour at dealer rotations, so in an 8 hour session im paying the house 96 bucks right off the top. They also take up to 10% pot rake, no higher than 6 bucks, plus evey pot i win i throw the dealer a buck. That shit adds up. Im thinking if i play the same games online in the convenience of my own home, threw someone with a rakeback deal, I would be better off in the long run, plus I wuld be getting money back from rakeback, instead of dishing it out. Over the long haul, im thinking this may be the way to go. I like playing live poker better, but that rake and the rest is getting to be bullshit. Plus i have a monthly home game i play live, so over the long haul im thinking online with a rakeback deal would save me bundles like geico. any opinions or advice?
