how long should it normally take for an offshore book to grade a wager? i always assumed it was right after the game ends but what if it goes triple overtime and doesnt end til 3am eastern, do they wait til the next morning?

I would say that right after the game ends! but it really does not happen like that in real life.:suomi:

The larger books have someone grading 24 hours a day. Some of the smaller ones will close up after the last game and the late games aren't graded until the next morning.

There should be always a graveyard shift guy, therefore major sports wagers should be graded after the game ends.
