I am looking at the Detroit Tigers today.

Johnson has been very good at home this year. I am talking about a 4-3 mark with an era at 2.66. I don't know about you, but that is flat out pitching your butt off at home. The Blue Jays are struggling with the Tigers for some reason. They had owned Maroth in the past and couldn't do anything against him. They won't do anything against Johnson tonight either.

McGowan is struggling. He has allowed 12 runs his last 14 innings and has a road era of 8.64. Are you serious here? This guy can't pitch on the road.

Detroit is playing really good baseball right now having taken 2 out of 3 from the Red Sox and the 1st one in this series. I like them to make it 2 in a row over the Blue Jays tonight.

Detroit still has a decent shot in this game simply for the fact that Toronto has not played well against the Tigers, but I don't like the pitching matchup nearly as much.

Two other plays that are pricey, but look good are the Phillies with Myers and the Mets with Pedro. Don't like laying those type of numbers for the most part, but might be worth a small parlay.
