So, today I am parlaying the 3 worst teams in baseball for the big bucks. I'm taking Colorado, Tampa Bay and the beloved KC Royals at 13-1.
Actually there is VALUE in this loser play. I get TB's best young pitcher in Kazmir. Colorado has Cook pitching, who has been very effective in his last 3 starts. Of course the Rox will probably surround him with Double-A prospects to make it more fair for the Cubs. And finally, the god-awful Royals are pitching Mike Wood, who has at least a snowball's chance in Death Valley of beating Zito. Frankly, Z looked a little shaky last time out.
