Any chance to get name tags for tonight's event? I know some people may not want to wear them but it would be nice to know someone's nickname without having to go up and ask them.

I think the highlight of the poker tournament was Fezzik kicking a chair and doing his Phil Hellmuth impression when he lost on the river.

You would think the guys on the last table were playing for millions...it was tough.

I played the whole time with Tatehill2000 who was the best player I've ever seen in person. By the time we assembled the last table I felt I could win if I could beat him. Baker was also very good.

Dante had his sunglasses on and was the crowd favorite. He is certainly one of the good guys.

It was great sitting and playing poker with JeffKSU, TTinco, GJMike, WildBill, Tatehill2000 and all the rest.

Dante played very well, coming back from having only 1000 in front of him (when the chip leaders were at over 20k) to finish in the money.

I think I will call the 10-7 a buzzsaw from now on, maybe I can get it to stick.

I made the final 16 - or so.

i am really short stacked @ 6k (1k/2k blinds)

i get a pair of 10s and so i go ALL IN - a no-brainer move

i get called - which i knew i would - by an AK

flop - ok
turn - ok
river - ACE - DEATH

ouch

best part was earlier i have pocket A9. fezzik - sitting next to me, sizes me up and see my short stack and forces me to go all in AFTER the flop hits an Ace

of course i call and turn over my cards to show i have 2 Aces. Fezz turns over pocket Kings. i end up winning the hand. later - at the bash - Fzz and I talk and he tells me he NEVER thought i had an Ace in my hand and when i turned it over he was shocked - for i limped in earlier.

Fezz pushed me all in 2-3 times and each time i won
