What's the going number JMan? 6.5-7?

I believe the offense will be much better with playmaker Cadillac and they may have gotten a steal as they are VERY impressed with rookie tight end Alex Smith. I think they could surprise people and break even......

You're right, once Brooks is done, that defense will take a huge blow.
Ronde Barber is getting older as well.

Right now they have a VERY tough decision on which kicker to keep as both are showing out. This is SO VERY IMPORTANT because they could of won 3-4 more games last year on every day field goals & extra points....

The offense still seems to be so far behind the other offenses in the league. I think Gruden will do a good job with another scrap heap QB here in Tampa just like he did with Gannon and Johnson. Still they will not overwhelm anyone.

I do not put much validity in strength of schedule arguments in the NFL. I do not feel the Bucs schedule is "weak." I suspect oddsmakers do not either. If the running game produces even a fraction over what they did last year and Clayton continues to improve, I don't see how they do not increase their win total. But good luck finding a decent price on the over. Pinnacle has the Bucs at 6.5 -173. No thanks.

Every year there are 1 or 2 teams that basically reverse last years record. Last year San Diego went 12-4 after going 4-12 the year before. Pit went 15-1 after going 6-10 the year before. I think the Bucs can do that this year. TB lost 8 games last year by 7 or less points. If the offense plays a little better and they dont turn the ball over they can realistically win 10 or 11 games. The running game will be improved and Brian Griese isn't a crap QB. He led the NFL in completion % last year and was the NFC's #3 passer. They were basically a 500 club once he took over as starting QB last year. And he will be better this year now that he knows the offense better, and has a running game.

Everyone thinks dallas is going to win alot of games this year but they weren't even competitive in most of there games last year. They lost by 14 or more points 8 times last year. TB played alot of close games that can easily be turned into wins this year.

Parcells has taken 3 different teams to the Super Bowl. This could be, might be, his 4th.

Defense was #1 in 2003, an should rank close to the top again this year.
IMO Cowboys will win more games than the Buc's this year if Parcells can muster any kind of offense whatsoever.
Buc's did in fact have lots of close loosers last year an were only outscored 304-301.
Defense was #5 last year and should be right up there again.
Both teams will have to get it together on the offensive side of the ball to have anything going this year.

Can't we ALL just get along?!!
