There is NO DOUBT in my mind...

In the last 72 hours....It has been a nightmare of UNREAL proportions..

Normally I break even, or come out slightly ahead after a session of games...
In the last 2+ days I have been RIVERED a RECORD number of times....If I have pocket AA , someone who has 66 stays in til the river, and hits the 6...

If I get a flush on the flop, someone gets a full house on the river.....The sad thing about this is I am not even SLIGHTLY exaggerating...

Normally I never really win big winner, or a large loser.....like I said always fairly maintaining an even playing field...

I just had to post this because nobody else would understand....but trust me...it has been THAT bad...Please tell me I am not the only one this happens to...

And it doesnt even matter how tight I play....when I get a great hand..I ALWAYS...yes ALWAYS lose.....

:sad3: :drink: :drink: :hump:

You're not just facing an opponent you don't know but also a 3rd party you don't know, a computer that can be programmed to do whatever the hell the owner wants. What I'm saying is when it comes to online poker, throw odds and bad luck out of the window. You'll play, it'll happen and there ain't a damn thing you can do about it. If you're adamant on playing, I would try a but-in tournaments and nothing else. Good luck in the future.

Its wierd how some of these sites run....Hot & cold ..For example when I cant seem to get a break like you explained , i just simply give up and take a rest or switch sites...I will use last night as an example. I was playing Omaha Hi Lo and I could not lose, I almost felt sorry for the other players...If i wasn't getting aa23 or some monsters , I would limp in and practically hit the perfect flop for my rags, It was Unreal!! I was so tired last night, but just couldnt leave with the cards I was getting, So I stayed up untill 7 this MORNING!!..It really made me wonder....How is this possible?

Oh well, I hope it gets better.

These kind of things do happen, but one thing is for sure. . . IT ISN't RIGGED.

These sites make WAY to much money and there is no reason for them to take the risk of setting up a game. There is programs. . pokertracker.com that track EVERY hand of poker that I play and all you have to do is check it and it will tell you that the odds are correct.

What you have to realize is that when you play 66 vs AA that 66 still has a chance to win. Not a very big one, but it does. long term, yes your AA will kill 66, but every once and awhile it will win.

You say that you win/break even everyday.. . well you are lucky then. Ask professional players like Matt24 how many losing days he has had. I guarentee he has had A LOT of them, but you have to take the good with the bad because some days you are just going to flat out get beat.

One more thing, if you are playing low limits then dont expect "dead fish" people with thier 66 to get out of the pot. You just CAN NOT get people out of pots with 66 when you are playing low limits. If you want people to respect your bets either play NL or play higher limits.

Best of luck ZZZ, and I do feel your pain. I play 40 hours a week and those beats happen a lot. Just make sure if it pisses you off too much to take a break. When I get a little cold streak I don't try to make it back. I get off the table and go get something to eat and take a break. Its the best way to handle things, you NEVER want to play pissed off.

you guys are paranoid. Bad runs of cards happen to everyone and they happen just as much in live games. The poker room has no reason to create paranoia and drive away players, they make enough on the rake not to rig the games. At least if we are talking about the major pokerrooms.

I was talking more about my experience, rather than claiming wrongdoing...I am just stating how bad it has been

but it's not just bad

it's REAL bad...as in can't win a HAND

Just change sites. no use banging your head against the wall. im going thru the same thing at stars right now..i cant buy a premium hand. hour after hour of folding.....i had to put in a request for a new fold button cus i wore the 1st one out!!! moved over to empire and im rolling like a doughnut..

but its in the mind as well...if your expecting to get beat no hand will be good enough, if your expecting bad cards that Q8 doesnt look nearly as playable as it does when your on a roll...i change sites, different software, different speed of the game, just a new feel altogether and im back to normal in no time.......

How do you know it isn't rigged? Oh right because they make so much money off of the rake? The same reasoning that online casinos aren't rigged because they already have a advantage edge wise right?

I agree 100%

I'm ahead in buy in tournaments, but have yet to walk away ahead from a 30 min session at a 6 man table.

It's the same thing ZZZ is talking about. I could have AK suited, an A K flops and I'll lose to some a*shole that stays in with pocket 2's all-in and hits a 2 on the river.

Sure, it's possible, every single time ...
but so is winning the lotto 12 weeks in a row.

Tourney only from now on.

Track 100,000 hands on one the programs they have out, and in the long term the odds will come out almost exactly correct. Poker is a long term battle just like anything else. I have gone through streaks just like you have and yea. . . It hurts and it makes you want to think that it is rigged, but it just isnt. The numbers don't lie from my hand tracker.

Pokerplayer is right though, if you don't feel comfortable at the site then just move. You will be amazed how a new room can treat you!

Good luck ZZZ and may your AA hold up against the shit hands! :103631605

I wish I had some sort of log to post
You wouldn't believe the hands I've been losing to...CONSTANTLY

Someone will stay in with 5 7 suited....all the way to the end, and hit the flush...I'll have 3 Kings on the FLOP

It's VERY odd

Buddy of mine was playing a 5-10 table, raised to 40 preflop with KQ and got 3 callers, the flop was k-q-8. It was checked to him and he bet out 200. He got 2 callers. the turn was another 8. Checked to him again. he bet out 400 (virtually all in) and got 2 callers.

The other 2 players had k5 and 84. THe 84 called a 40 dollar preflop raise with 84 and then called a 200 post flop bet with just bottom pair with an 8 kicker. and hit a miracle 8 to take down a huge pot.

Oh by the way, this was at the borgata and not online.

Bad poker leads to bad beats. If he would have won that hand, he never would have called me to tell me about that hand. Its the nature of the beast.

my quote is

variance is a bitch

it's really that simple. It's all variance. The best players in the world can get drilled over a pretty large amount of hands. THe longterm is a long long time

Just think about it! How much can they take from players if they rigged the game? Sure isn't enough to beat their rake. I don't know of the site, but I'd get a new one if I were you! Try Paradise Poker or Ultimate Bet.

Poker pro see you at the finals of the paradise poker one million dollar tourey next Saturday.
