As in the same training table and regimin of Oliver Miller and John Daly...Kruk, Siragusa, and Golic were "ballplayers" not athletes per se.

Kruk once at a suit and tie affair with other players, overheard a lady remark about his rotund physique(even much leaner at the time), and retorted to the stunned woman "lady, I'm not an athlete, I'm a ballplayer!"
