BRUSSELS, Belgium - Belgian women's soccer team SK Berlaar had to stomach a 50-1 defeat against rival KV Mechelen on Saturday because their goalkeeper had opted to attend a music concert instead, a local newspaper said.
"Our keeper went to Pukkel Pop. That's why," substitute goalkeeper Charlotte Jacobs told Het Laatste Nieuws daily on Monday.
KV Mechelen scored their first goal after only four seconds.
"At half-time the score was 27-0. But after half-time we were able to recover. We had to stomach only 23 goals and we scored once ourselves, right at the end. They allowed us to score. That was sweet of them," Jacobs added

Ok - my take here. If I am on SK i am PISSED at my goalie for doing this - but C'mon - how can a team allow 50 goals - and 1 after only 4 seconds? think about that - from kickoff to the goal in only 4 seconds means the defense must have been on the sidelines to permit that.
and let's talk about the winner here. a some point in time the coach of the team has to stop this crap and stop rubbing it in. up 27-0 at half and he pours it on still? and how "nice" if him to "allow" the other team to score.
had i been on SK - i wait for KV to send their best player into the box and she goes down - and she goes down HARD! i hate to advocate violence - but if KV's best player is still in the game - DOWN SHE GOES
