OK if Oswalt/Williams get a total of 7....then give me Peavy/Clemens Under @ 6.5 all day long.Where to start...with the aces of course:

Clemens coming off his worst start all year Im betting he will be razor sharp.Hes on the road where he has absolutely dominated...6-1 with a .370 ERA !!!! and a whip of .890.He only allowed 2 HRs in 73 road IP pitched and in two starts vs the Pads last year let up only 3 ER and 7 hits in 14 ip.Then theres Jake the Snake....5-2 at home with an ERA of 3.05 but a whip of only .980 .At Petco this year hes striking out almost 5 batters for every one he walks. Both starters have been pitching well over thier L3 (exc that last Clemens start-have to beleive that was a fluke).Peavy: 2.05 era/1.05 whip and Clemens :2.11 ERA (even after the 5er performance)/.800 whip.Over the last 10 games the Astros are batting just .248 and avg 3.93 rpg while the Pads are worse @ .238 and 3.26 rpg.Things usually dont get better offensively when playing in Petco field. Both BPs IMO can mop things up if need be but both of these guys can go deep and hopefully will. Most of the HOME overs on Peavys record came really early and hes been quite nice at home lately....I expect Roger to be Roger again.

Under 6.5 (-101)
