I am overwhelmed with the response I have recieved from the posters and guests who attended this year's Bash. I know a great time was had by all, I was especially happy to see poster Gijoe walk away with a cool $20,000 after winning his Factor Of Fear Challange balck jack hand. A big Thanks to Skybook and Rx. management for making that possible.
I met too many posters to list here, but everyone was so positive and friendly, including my new pal Panther. Thanks to all of you for the support.
The poker tournament had double the players from last year, and was a lot of fun for all involved. The setup was great, the Golden Nugget staff ran the game in a very professional way. Congrats again to John Buzz for winning the $2,000 first prize. Special thanks to Bodog for sponsering the tournament.
The reception dinner was a big success with over 220 guests enjoying a great buffet, and an open bar. Marty gave away $15,000 spread out among 40 Rx. posters. All done it the most professional way with numbered tickets. Congrats to all the winners. Thanks Marty for your incredible generosity.
The Golden Nugget staff was also extremely courteous and helpful. Special thanks go out to Marie, John DiCostantino, Shelly, the group from poker, and all of the food service staff that put out such a great spread. Thanks very much.
Finnally, a great big thank you to all the posters and their guests who attended, and made the Bash the very big success that it was, without whom the Bash never would have happened.
