Love a ton of chalk, all w/their aces going and some off of revenge. Seem too good to be true. Cards, Marlins, WSx, Angels, Tigers, NYY, RSx. Way too many, have to pare it down some. Any thoughts? Little help guys.

I'll offer my 2 cents worth. Of the teams you list, I lean toward St. Louis and the LA Angels.

Marlins - Florida is 28-31 on the road and Ohka has been tough lately.

WSx - ChiSox only 2-8 last 10 games. Mays has been bad of late, but is 8-3 lifetime against CWS.

Tigers - Detroit is HOT, Oakland is NOT. But Bonderman has cost me plenty in 2005. Everytime I am convinced he will cruise, he gets bruised instead.

NYY - IMO these guys are by far the most overbet team in all of sports. They remain a team that can lose to anyone anywhere at any time.

RSx - Both pitchers have seasonal ERAs between 4 and 5 but Sox are huge favorites. Too pricey for me.

As for St. Louis, the Cards are the superior team by far, got spanked 10-0 last night and have their Cy Young candidate on the mound.

The Angels have Colon going at a cheap price against a fast fading Oriole team that is looking to 2006.

Good Luck Today!

Thanks Squeeze

What you say about the WSx/Twins is true. However, the Twins (my hometown tm BTW) is in a real bind, the whole starting OF is out. And this is one of the worst hitting tms in BB WITH them. WSx coming off of a heartbreaking loss where they gave up only 1 run. They throw one of the top 5 pitchers in the AL out there, just too much to overcome IMO! WSOX!!

Marlins No

Squeeze,
as one of the resident Marlins guys, I don't like us here. We depend on the longball too much, and we don't take walks. Ohka should keep this close. Burnett can be roughed up by the Giants.
Better plays IMO,

Bud - Los Marlins are playing the Brewers ! not Giants.

Burnett has won last 7 starts in a row !

He is much improved.

From MH:

The reason for Burnett's sudden success after years of inconsistency: the newfound discovery that he doesn't have to blow his fastball by every batter to get outs. Burnett is mixing in far more changeups and sliders to attack hitters.

''It's kind of what everybody told me for five years, and I just didn't listen,'' Burnett said.

I like the Mets tonight with Seo who is 5-1 with a 1.09 era. Mets are playing well. Arizona has lost 3 in a row.

The Mets are my favorite play tonight. Seo seems to be flying under the radar but he has been terrific.

Concerning Florida, Ohka is 1-10 lifetime against the Marlins. Still hard to get excited about Florida here. Good info on the White Sox-Twins, Silver7. Makes it a very interesting play. Mays has been BAD.

OK, small parlay here. Cards, Angels, White Sox, Mets. I got 7-1 on it.

Oh & Yes the RedSox are a hitter too. They could rest half their starters & still the royals would find a way to give them the game. Expect to sees some runs put up in that one.

I should have said............

Stay away from heavily favored (-150 or more) teams on the road with losing road records.

Thanks For The Feedback Guys

THAT`S what this forum is about, not all the BS infighting. I love ya man! Anyway I had not looked @ the Mets mainly because of the ass kicking they administred last nite. Hard to do twice. Looking # them they have a bad RR, but Az is almost equally as bad @ home. Jeez that NL West is awful. Their 1st place tm SD would be a distant last in the NL East. So Mets ARE a look. Only 2 tms NYY & Det are @ home and both playing tms Tor & Oak w/losing rd rec`ds. Bonderman has been good to me. still have 5 NYY, Det, WSx, RSx, & SL, maybe Mets. All I can say this sure beats the hell out of working.
