Running late....lots of golf today.Tonight:

Under 8.5 (-117) Detroit/Oakland

These two starters matched up on 7/31 and the line was 9...As won 5-2.The A's were playing a little better back then than they are right now.Over the L10 the A's are batting only .204 and scoring 2.37 rpg.On the other hand the Tigers have been hitting pretty well (.296 avg. and 6.30 rpg L10-big chunk of this came from 17-6 beating they gave the BJs)....but theyve been hitting well regardless.Saarloos (RHP) though has been a good pitcher this year, and done quite well on the road (3.73 era ,1.26 whip 8-0 Under).Hes already defeated the Tigers once this year pitching a CG that was quite close to being a shutout. In his last three he's got an era of 3.66 and a whip of 1.12 3-0 Under).Bonderman for the Tigers was unbelievable early on but has cooled off a little. However the A's have really been struggling to hit and Bonderman (RHP) should present a challenge to this A's lineup that overall hits LHP better than righties,in fact the Tigers also hit LHP better than RHP.Both bullpens sport pretty decent numbers but I think both pitchers can go deep if they are on.Bonderman often goes 8 sometimes 9.Basically Im the A's offensive struggles continue, making Bonderman look good and Saarloos to continue to pitching well on the road quieting down those Tiger bats.

BOL.
