I registered the very first day I found this place. Been an addiction ever since.
Didn't post much at first, like most. This place is a bit overwhelming to a newbie, kinda like a small town guy hoping on a plane and touching down in NYC or LA, i guess.
Shortly after transferring on my job, found out an RX Mod named Bucsfan was one of my co-workers/supervisors,
I was lucky that he explained to me who everybody was here, mods, top posters, top cappers, ect...became an RX regular the next day
Have got to know a lot of great ppl here, wish i could've made the Bash.

For me it was seeing topics and information being posted that I knew was wrong. It drove me nuts. I remember thinking about registering SEVERAL times just to reply to posts that were so off base that it frustrated me.
BUT, the negative posts, flaming, and bashing kept me from joining because I knew how new posters were treated when they chimed in...especially on controversial topics.
If there were one thing I would like to see change about forums in general, it would be the way newbies get hammered for voicing their opinions. Now it is a fine line because there are agenda driven shills and people of that nature as well...so I am not sure if there is a happy medium or not.

I used to be a regular at covers until I found this site. I have found that the in depth discussion about relevant sports information is MUCH more valuable and friendly than it is at covers. There isn't nearly as much flaming and bickering. That place was more about everybody trying to be the best capper around, this place is more about discussion and making money for all. :toast:
I was being slow paid by BetRoyal, and I came here looking to get more information about them. After I posted, the check showed up within days. Then I started to check out the entire forum a little more and began to enjoy the sports/sportsbetting knowledge available here, and I was hooked.
I had been following things since ClubmanCoop came aboard and found myself getting caught up with what was going on, wanted to register but the "situation" concerning a female with the same IP as another male poster was not something Coop wanted to deal with (being new and all). When we decided to go to LV, I figured people would meet me there proving I was really who I said I was. Probably alot of over thinking for nothing but at least it's out of the way....Plus, my opinion on sports is usually much different than others (definitely MUCH different than Coops) so know when I feel like saying something...I CAN
