First, I would like to respond to Railbird's comments, who I know everyone respects on here.

Total BS how umpire would not call strikes for Pimental, making him burn 103 pitches, umpire was kissing Bichettes ass, he threw 5 straight strikes to Dante Jr.

We have 20 teams in SoCal better than Maitland, only reason FLa scored tonight was umpire putting a lid over strike zone, home plate umpire was clearly a California hater.

Also statement that FLa played tougher teams than Hawaii was a joke, Pearl City who Eva Beach beat in Hawaii would also kick Maitlands ass.

Also Dante Sr and Stanley arent very good coaches, Pimental should be walked everytime up like Barry Bonds.

That is what Imperail Beach did and took them to 10 innings.

I believe the Ump missed one call on Bichette JR. The umpires did a poor job in all areas. To say that the Ump was a California hater is a little much. California was swinging at balls that were balls, thus they did not give the umpire nearly as many questionable pitches to judge. Often in Champioship games such as these, umpires call a smaller zone, similar to a highschool zone.
Florida hit two balls that were homeruns off of Pimmental, one of which the outfielder made a very nice play on, and the second which the Umpire from Canada foolishly ruled a double. Florida did an excellent job by only swinging at majorleague strikes, and quickly adjusting to the umpires zone. By moping around on the mound, Pimmentel really showed his age. Do I feel that the job by the entire umpire crew was bad? Yes I do. I don't feel however that it was slanted either way.
I said that Florida had played tougher competition to get to this point than had Hawaii. You have misinterpreted my statement, as I never said that every team that Florida had played was better than every and any team Hawaii had played. Hawaii did get to play Idaho and ALASKA. To get to the LLWS, Hawaii played Idaho (twice), Oregon (twice), Alaska and Montana. They avoided the 31 seed in their own regional (Washington). Bottom line is that at this point, all teams are allstars.
I don't care that you believe that 20 teams in SoCal would "Kick Maitland's" ass. Florida did not have to beat 20 California teams.
Walking Pimentel is debateable. He was 1-2 last night, with 1 walk and a run scored, no RBI. Personally, with nobody on, I wouldn't walk him, if I had an open base, I would. He is not the same as Bonds, because he actually has a potent lineup behind him. Imperial Beach is a different team, and a diffrent game.
It was interesting to read your viewpoint. I know that if my pitchers were being squeezed, I would advise my hitters to be very very selective (as Florida obviously did, and California did not.)

Railbird, who do you think California will throw against Hawaii in the US Championship? I assume Lewis' arm was still sore since he didn't throw last night.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now to Today's plays:
6-4: +13.47 UNITS

Guam vs Willemstad (Cur) -121 for 4 Units.
Ewa Beach (HAW) (-5.5 +136) for 1.5 Units vs Lafayette (Lou)

I have to get to campus, goodluck everybody.

11-1 Curucau. Guam blows.

Genius play by the Curucau manager by saving Profar Jurickson. Wow.

Ok, I am adding 1.5 more units to the Hawaii Bet, but these 1.5 are at +146

7-4: +17.47 Units.

SO:
Ewa Beach (HAW) (-5.5 +136) for 1.5 Units vs Lafayette (Lou)
Ewa Beach (HAW) (-5.5 +146) for 1.5 Units vs Lafayette (Lou)

ALSO, FOR TOMMOROW

Chiba City (Jap) vs Willemstad (Cur +275) for 3.5 units.

Basically, the kid for Curucau is an absolute stud, and threw last years International Championship Game (a shutout 12 K one hitter of Mexico). Including Last year, Profar has thrown 4 games and part of another 2 games, and only allowed 7 hits. He is dominant. I really can't believe this line, and this absolutely would be a max play IF Curucau was a better hitting team.

Now Japan's guy also throws well, so this isn't a slam dunk by any means. Japan likes to put pressure on people, and plays very similar to last years Japan team. They have 2 studs, as well as 2 supporting players. The difference I feel between these 2 teams, is that Curucau does have the ALLWORLD Player, and Japan doesn't. They are very fundamentally sound However.

Budworth,

Nice handicapping this week, and agree with you on Curacao Sat and Haw plays tonight.

I thought Pimental threw 7 pitches that would be called strikes on ANY level that were called balls, and 5 of thenm were in a 2 minute span in the 3rd inning.

I hope Lewis pitches, he has a great curve, its been a long summer I hope is arm is ok. he throws 72 mph, and has great command, some think he is better than Pimental.

I agree that the umpire was absolutely squeezing him in the 3rd. These umps, they definately aren't perfect. I am especially weary of the Foriegn (Read: Canada) umps. I think ENOs throws for Hawaii tonight. I was unable to call anyone to findout though.

I think that Under 6.5 is +188 now is absurd.

Goodluck Tonight.

Since JDubb asked,

Hawaii is up 2-0, bottom of the 4th. Not looking especially good for Hawaii batters. BUT the La pitcher has lots some MPH.

We need 4 runs. Hopefully it happens here. I am not counting on it. Only 1 hit so far for Hawaii.

yeah i got a kid with a nasty curve that I taught him. His old man was constantly gfiving me shit about the fuckin kids arm but yet he beat the kid whenever he would walk to many kids or give up too many hits. the kid has an average fastball, but his deuce is nasty. i might be ruining his arm but the K's he gets with the deuce saves his ass from his old mans beatings. That and the fact that I gave his old man the dirtiest fucking beating of his life in the parking lot after the father/son game. i repeatedly smashed his face into the concrete until he stopped fighting back, it was really bad but he got the fuckin message, its like i tell my kids before every game.. kick ass then take names.

Look, I don't support any of what this guy is saying. I made a comment about how his ball naturally moved and this person jumps into this
