I stayed there Thursday night....well, I had a room at least-didn't leave the poker table until 6am.

MGM is a great "all in one place" resort, but if you don't have a food credit, be prepared for some sticker shock. I had to wait a freakin hour to get served breakfast---AN HOUR!!! AFTER I ORDERED....which took another 20 minutes.

It's amazing how poor the majority of the poker players there are.

It worked out real cheap for me. Room at $59 X3. We got comped to buffet because AC failed and had to change rooms, the buffet costs $25 pp, but it's great, they even have king crab legs. So that's like $50 off, then the $35 dining credit. Roughly equivelant to $100 for 3 nights. I loved the river pool.

The rooms were well over $100 for anyone buying late. The coke place is good for half-price show tix on day of show, too !

Much nicer than GN.

I didn't know the porn was free ! Wife not into porn, but I could have snuck in a few minutes. The TV in the mirror was cool ! The shower was neat, also !

This was where they had the huge fire some years back !

Do they have high speed internet access?

The one at the nugget worked fine, but a bit pricey at 12 bucks/day

yeah, they have high speed,

doug, I only stayed there one day, but was that 35$ meal credit for EACH day or only for ONCE throughout your stay.....

for me it was a Phenomenal deal as I paid only 59$ for the room, got a 35$ meal credit & took them for 50$ at the BJ tables....:103631605

they did however get me for those 9$ Pina Coladas by the pool :drink:

Once per stay, not day. $25 a day is dirt cheap, for class place.

Not sure where she called, but I kind of got the impression that it was within the US by the way that the clerk was franticly trying to settle her down explaining that long distance is very expensive in the hotel and that is why the gift shop sells calling cards.

doug? did you rent a tube for the lazy river?

I thought I remember seeing on the offer that there was a free ride for the lazy river, so I rented one, & the girl told me I would get credited back the charge at the front desk....

16$$$$ :icon_conf

When I went to check out, the girl at the front desk, told me that the lazy river ride was not included!!!!

but I complained & got them to credit back the ridiculous charge....

BTW, did you check out the topless pool? :monsters-

I seem to remember something about that being free also. I didn't rent one, someone passed one onto me, and I did the same when leaving.

I didn't know there was a topless pool ! :sad3:

Fee is absurdly high. I thought it was $8, so $16 must have been for 2 ? The thing can't cost $50 !

8$ for each tube? Maybe you are right, because we did rent two I guess....

I thought there was a free one with the internet 'DEAL' but it may have been another deal I saw on the website.......

$8 is tough enough when comparing the charge to the value of what you are renting. Buying hundreds of them must put cost at $30 tops. Goes well with the $9 burgers and drinks !
