I saw a valet wearing these things ( in black). Really funky-looking, the guy said he loved them.

I guess they're made for someone on their feet a lot on very hard surfaces, probably not good on grass.

Ebay has some new ones for sale (only womens from what I see).

$75 - $135. So probably $110-$200 for mens I would guess.

I have a feeling they work well, since valets wear them. It's almost an orthopedic device. I'd try a pair on if I happened to spot them in a store.
