The Fish and me made a visit to one of our hangouts, Lee Roy Selmon's in New Tampa this evening and ended up sitting right next to Dave at the bar.
When we first got there, I noticed him and said to Fish, I think that is Dave Andreychuk. It was finally confirmed when he talked to some people he knew, and then turned to us and started talking to us! Very nice man, had a nice conversation with him on many subjects.
I am a big fan of his as well as a Bolts fan, we told him we would be there opening day and he jokingly said "so will I, it should be fun!"

What a great guy...Go Bolts!!!

Andreychuk, like Bourque, is a testament to to willpower, and seemingly even better people than players, and made it easy for America to pull for the Lanche and Ning to win the Cup for them alone..let alone all the other team members.

Great Finals that was, fell in love with St.Louis and Iginla..lil' men with serious skates.

Pretty cool.

I was sitting right next to Dave for 5 min and Mermaid says to me that guy looks just like Dave Andreychuk. When she went to the bathroom I thought to myself it sure does and actually thought it had to be his brother. Then finally realized it was really him. What threw me was he currently has hair practically down to his shoulders.

As Mermaid mentioned, we then shot the bull with him for 45 min.............as he talked more than GatorLT.

Just signed a new 2-year contract with the Lightning, at the age of 41.

Pinny has TB at 20-1...I am not excited about my 15-1 from The Plaza anymore.

Have you ever tried to eat the nachos at Leroys? It is a serious heart attack ready to happen. Of course, you do have 1 of the sexiest bartenders around "Chondra" to revive you.

The largest crowd for an NHL game was 28,183 when the Tampa Bay Lightning hosted the Philadelphia Flyers at the forum in a Stanley Cup Playoff game.
