Stranded in Toronto during Rx Bash

Yo Gang...

...landed in Toronto Friday morning at 6:45 EST.

Due to tornado warnings,(1st time in the last 30 years)

I didn't get my flight to Vegas 'till 9am Sunday !!!

Arrived at the GN at about 2:30 local time.

Got back this afternoon.

Played Bear's Best Monday morning(excellent course).

Watched the Yank's kick the Jays later that day at the

GN sportsbook;also watched the 1st Half of the Cowboys/

Seahawks game.

...sipped some champagne before fying over the strip in

a chopper.

..checked out the ELVIS-O-RAMA on Industrial Rd.

When leaving Studio 54 at the MGM,the sun was

beatin'down on me. lol

...also won some coin at the Black Jack tables,and

cashed in big at the craps table.

Shame I didn't meet you guys at the Bash;but I did enjoy

my stay in Vegas none-the-less.

EVERYONE wondered what happened to you Sal.....wow that was a nightmare..I have never heard of such a bad airline experience....

You had this huge unheard of nightmare and could not come and Clip joint loses his Day planner and could not come ...Shocking stuff....well there is always next year

When we landed in Toronto, Friday morning ... the passengers weren't

allowed to leave the plane 'till about noon.

So we sat in the plane roughly 4.5 hours...in the middle of the runway.

Still shakin' my head.

Good thing I bought insurance for the flight...it costed me just over 300.00

to stay in a hotel for 2 nights.

I do know... that the flight attendant and pilot, both claimed they had never

experienced anything like this in their 20 years of service.

What airline did you go on? If it was Air Canada or America West there is a good chance they have been thru that in there 20 years of service.

I'm calling bullsht!!!! FISH threw me on the ground....or i tripped on the chair! His girl, Stacey, also showed up with a purple, swollen ankle so I think he did the same to her....don't let FISH's crap persuade you....although you did miss a great time....TT was trashed on Dom, RandyRohm was wasted, Dante is a shortknocker!, the buffet was great, the open bar was better, Coach is a HOOT, Bucs was shit hot on horses, Fezzik gave me a winner on the giants, Panther is a good guy!, Kermit was sober and a great guy to hang with, GIJOE=big money!, a lot of drunks, and a good time had by all!! Oh yeah...and FISHSTIX girl is HOTTTT!!

I've since seen a picture of our friend Panther.
I now know that it was he and his wife that were sitting right next to me at the GN Sportsbook's bar.
I remember him having action on the Card's ...Mulder was pitching that particular evening.
