How Many 2 finger typists here ?

I'm one of them ! Fairly remarkable considering my number of posts. I can probably type 20 words a minute with 2 fingers. It's wrong ! Doug took typing in HS, but forgot it after 20 years of mostly construction/ bartending. I'm doing 3rd person as a goof, not because I consider myself self-important, probably last time I do it ! I never learned it too good in HS, anyway

Kinda like that old song... something like all that crap I learned in HS... forgot the French I learned... yada,yada,yada.

Force yourself to type 10 finger & it will come right back to you after a short while.

Even if you have to look at first, that will go away with time.

As many posts as you make Doug, it would be a positive EV play to run to Best Buy and get one of those cheap typing tutorials for the computer.

I remember the ASDF....JKL:, bit. Maybe I will do dat. However there must be many finger guys like me, NO ? I'm sure my accuracy is better with caveman methods.

I never got good at doing it correctly to start with, so it won't come back strong.

A lot of keyboards have a little bump or something on F & J (the index finger home keys). Get one that does & put a printout of the key layout in front of your monitor, you'll catch on.

Two fingers here...although I've gotten pretty quick...

I wish I learned yrs ago, I would have about the same chance at learning to play the guitar (none) as typing at this point in time!

It would have been nice to learn, no chance at this point though!

I type faster and more accurate with two fingers than most people type with 10

Just the way I've always done it...I don't even think about it..It's second nature

That's damn good for 2 fingers ! You'd qualify for any job requiring light to medium typing skills, not an ace heavy typing job, but very good. I don't know my speed, maybe I'm at 30 ?

no i dont look at the keys

ive been typing for so long on computer keyboards its ridiculous

i remember taking typing courses in highschool and i always just used 2-3 fingers (sometimes using my thumb for the spacebar)

when someone says "second nature" its beyond true

i look like the "typing savant"
