this is why i don't want to bet on it even though Traschel was reportedly throwing very well in St. Lucie. Also T<!--StartFragment -->rax is 8-4 with 2.75 ERA in 18 lifetime starts against the Giants
I would say Houston is the favorite for the wild card just because they have more home games and play bad teams. Mets I think will finish 2nd in the east though. Houston controls their own destiny.
Houston certainly has the pitching, but I really like the way the Mets are playing and Pedro is pitching like its 1995. How much do the Red Sox wish they still had him??
I'm actually on the Giants tonight (I've always loved fading Trachsel, this being his first start after injury just makes it look better) but I would like it if they took the J-E-T-S chant and slide that over to the Mets.
Good luck fellas, but I like my chances against Trachsel tonight:drink:
edub, I did play the Mets small , just because they've been good to me....I am concerned with Trachsel like you mentioned, but they're in a nice groove...
Giants aren't exactly filled with Mays, Bonds, Cepeda and McCovey either.
Looking good early with the flaming hot David Wright going deep...we'll see if Trachsel can throw a decent five or six tonight and keep the Mets in the lead. I have the Giants small myself, much more concerned with the Astros taking care of business tonight.:toast:
