From Kidslick's reply to one of my thread, he brings up an interesting topic about being disciplined. We don't always have a positive week and there is that one week during the football season that nearly every game you bet you are on the wrong side. The question I have is do you stay disciplined, and accept the loss for that week and stay the course or do you scan the rx boards looking for hot or respected posters and unload on a game to get even. Personally, I have been on both sides of this question. My answer is as the longer I have stayed in this game, the more disciplined I have become. I don't follow anybody's plays at face value but upgrade a play on units as a result of a match of people I have gotten to know. For the past year, I have really become disciplined on accepting a loss and I have benefited 10 fold by doing so. What do you do and why?

Chasing with consistency doesn't exist. You'll go broke much faster that way.

Discipline is a major key to the game...gotta have it to survive.

I don't change anything regardless of a good or a bad streak. You have to go with what got you here in the first place. I expect the occasional bad day or week, so now that I know its coming, I except it alot better and move on. Nobody can talk me out of my NFL Plays anyway so I don't have any other recourse other then just move on to the next card or game. If you don't have a feel for a game you might want to look at another hot poster though, for insight.

You can't chase , this is something most will never get...

On the flipside, you go 20-1 do you lower or raise your wages?

j-man,

I agree that if you have a strong week that adjustment in value of unit may come into play but I would say reevaluate by the month or have a total amount to reach as a goal before changing unit value.
