I must be dreaming because for some unknown programming hiccup someone decided to put the Phils on national television. :103631605

I'm seeing -135 to -145 for Padilla vs Vargas and the snakes. I can tell you that the Phils have been excellent off of a loss and even more excellent (7-2 I believe) after getting shutout.

This reeks of the Giants series. Phils get shutout 5-0 and the next night Padilla pitches and they win 10-2.

I'm not going to bet the farm on this one but I would certainly not be afraid to take this game right now. I'm expecting the bats to wake up and bash Vargas.

I agree sb. I had the Phils Saturday against the Snakes as AZ had been giving up some big scores. I have to think the Phils will bounce back on Sunday.

Froemming behind the plate 8-17 O/U this season (much like yesterday with Winters 8-20 O/U going in) and Padilla's been an under pitcher lately (1-5 O/U L6) so if you're a totals player that might be the way to go. BUT I really like the way they come back from a shutout loss and really any loss this year (8 games over .500 after a loss...6-2 after a shutout loss). ERA for Vargas close to 6 at home this season and career vs the Phils close to 7. Phils left 10 on base yesterday and I don't think they will make the same mistakes two days in a row.

The line is going down (at least I saw -145 overnight and I'm looking at -135 to -140 now). The snakes have played well behind Vargas but I just can't fade the Phils after yesterday's game. They are definately a strong bounce back team.

Yeah who woulda thunk it...I am this team's biggest critic but they are playing to get in the playoffs. I have to salute them for that.
