Kris Benson vs. Noah Lowry. Benson has looked real good for the Mets this year, until last Sunday when he was torched by the lowly Washington Nationals. Allowed 8 hits & six runs in 2/3 of the first inning. I had the under seven Benson vs. Louiza & that bastard killed my cash in the first inning, jerk!
To get lit up by the Nationals, a team that was shut out yesterday on their own field to the Cards WORST STARTER, is beyond embarassing. Too much sex with the hot wifey last saturday night.
Now that swinging Benson & his swinging wife are in the swinging Bay, you think his mind is on baseball? On your bet for the Mets?
In contrast, Noah Lowry is lighting up his opponents of late. 3 of his last 4 starts, his opponents scored NO RUNS.
Also the wagerline consensus shows a majority taking the Mets. I can't figure out why, other than the Mets have been hot & are some kinda public team. So i'm fading the consensus on this game & backing Lowry for a very low vigorish. The Man knows what side's gonna win, even if the public doesn't.
Lowry -110 based on his recent performance looks like a bargain to me.
