Yeah this question doesn't need to be asked. A better question would of been who is more popular Sammy Sosa or Steve Bartman at this point.

Does this question really need asked? Ryno, no doubt.

today 95% Ryno, 5% Sammy
5 yrs ago 95% Sammy 5% Ryno

Just making a point how time can change, and Ryno hasn't taken a swing in a long time :103631605

I don't think it would have ever been 50/50, even when Sammy was in his hay-day.

Ryno has always been the #1 Cub.

Sandberg at the top of his career was slightly more popular than Sosa. Mainly because of the 1984 season. First time they won anything since the 1945 WS team.

Journey, thanks for changing from the Mutts to Vida Blue. :103631605

Archimides if you have nothing positive to say please stay out of the thread. This is a simple discussion thread for baseball fans. Give it a rest.

I think Sammy in his prime was right up there with Mr. Cub himself. But all the Chicagoans that I know don't have anythink kind to say about Sammy anymore.

By the way, speaking of Bartman, did anyone read the article on ESPN.com about a month ago with the young reporter who hunted down Bartman. It was a great article.
