Coming off a very good day yesterday where I went 3-1 with one of the wins a 2 team parlay hit with Texas and Dodgers going against Santana and Clemens. Monday looks profitable as well.
Cubs -135 (Williams) vs Dodgers (Houlton)- Too unpredictable and underachieving clubs but feel big Cubs win yesterday will carry over today. In what should be somewhat of an offensive game, Dodgers simply don't have the bats to keep up with the North Siders in this one.
Nationals +130 (Patterson) vs Atlanta (Sosa)- I like the pitching matchup in Nats favor but really like this play due to GM Bowden chewing some ass after playing poor game yesterday vs Cards. Besides playoffs, Nats players may be playing for jobs/playing time with callups due on Thursday. They played 3 1 run games last trip in to Atlanta and feel they will circle the wagons in this one.

Seattle +190 (Franklin) vs NY Yankees (Mussina)- Yanks go to the left coast with no day off. Seattle bats came alive yesterday (bad for me as White Sox win would have won me a 12 10 team parlay that would have payed over 22k) but will take advantage today. Should be an offensive game as Yanks bats have come alive but like fact that Yanks bullpen worked more over weekend than they wanted vs Royals.
Arizona +150 (Ortiz) vs San Diego (Williams)- Really feel like in the NL West if you bet the worst team you will win but like Arizona's Ortiz vs weak lineup and fact they won last 2 vs Phils. SD has been struggling vs Rockies and this may be AZ last stand in West so expect superior effort.
Baltimore -115 (Bedard) vs Oakland (Sarloos)- This is a bet against Orioles getting swept in 4 games at home. Like Bedard in matchups vs Oak hitters and feel Balt bats will wake up in this one.
