With NHL Eliminating Ties by adding Shootouts, Will you bet Hockey more often?

The NHL has eliminated ties by adding ot shootouts which means there will be a winner and a loser every game in hockey. With this rule change, will you look to bet on hockey more frequently. Personally, I did not bet hockey in the past because of the ties, and likely will now bet an occasional hockey game. What is your opinion?

Hockey is the sport I've bet the most. I didn't mind ties as I was betting on them quite a lot. The new rule will make my life easier but the lines will be tight. I might end up playing more parlays.

Anticipating that most books will give one the option of betting a game with and without the shootout.

As a book manager, that would be my course of action.

Actually, one of my consistently best-paying bets in the past has been NHL parlays where I would throw a tie in there at +700. Can't do that anymore -- but winning the lesser paying parlays should be easier now. I hope....
