Tell me if you do this....I cant explain it but I see it happy so often...

1. You bet, say on four teams, each a straight bet for, say, 50 dollars.

2. Then you parlay those same four teams in a four teamer, for 100 dollars...

Do you do this?

No parlays here.

Hard enuff to win straight plays. Hardly ever bet that many at one time anyway.
3 games on one call is about my limit. Have noticed in my life that i seem to do better by NOT trying to play "the list"

will bet 3 teams and parlay them but not for a higher amount...usually an even amount or half but it's usually on college baskets on 3 games i really like.

I make 4 straight wagers, one 2-games parlay and a 6 to 8 games parlay. The amount I wager on the big parlay is the equivalent of my potential win in a straight bet, voiding that win.

I didnt want to say much when I asked the question cause that will influence the answers but, I just cannot understand why people make their parlay with those same teams (or heck any other) for a larger amount than the straight bets they made...

Im not a genius but Im always thinking what they hell do they think theyre doing when they do this....

Heck, if you win, you look like a genius but i find it hard to understand why people do this...

Nope.....parlays are reserved for the low dollar round robin entertainment bets (games not worth betting straight or the TV games that I want something to bitch about while watching).

say i played 3 teams on a given night

200 on each team

maybe i will do a 50 dollar parlay on all three ( especially if all 3 are underdogs

Parlay players who are hedging both sides? :lolBIG:

That's the only thing I can come up with.

This is what i do too...(but i risk about 8 more sacks of potatoes on top of the 200 on my normal plays) then risk about 50 to 100 parlaying the same teams..

and my plays are about 10 or more a week so we are talking huge arse parlays here..

Its also nice if you are in las vegas and you have company to buy them some crammy parlays to keep them intrigued in the your degenerate habit...(highly recommend this if you are with a woman...esp the ones who dont like football very much!!!!)
