The Mets are great at home, Seo has been lights out all year, Tejeda pitched in relief and missed his scheduled start after getting bombed, Seo has an ERA of 1.17 and Tejeda is 5.17, both returned from a west coast road trip and Seo is only -133?

I will be on the Mets.

I have the Mets also cincy. While Tejeda did get bombed his last time out he was solid in 5 games prior to that. The Mets have only scored 1 run in their last 3 games.

Even with that, I am going with the Mets.

I don't have the stats, but aren't the Mets like 75+% winners in the first game of a homestand?

Lots of rumors the Mets are changing their batting order tonight also, moving Beltran to the #2 hole and putting David Wright in the 3 spot. This move should hopefully wake up Beltran and put the Mets best hitter in a position to get more AB's with speedy agressive intelligent baserunners on for him to drive in.

However there is a good chance this game gets rained out tonight.

They want to put Beltran in the 2 hole because Cairo SUCKS.

What I have head is that they will take out Cairo and move everyone up a spot - Beltran to 2, Floyd to 3, Wright cleanup and so on.

I've heard both. Either Cairo to 8 and everyone else up 1, or wright 3rd, floyd 4th, and then 6-8 become 5-7.

Either way is better. Its still speculation until the lineups come out for tonight though.

Mets & under8

It sure looks as Mets will prevail tonite if no rainout. Both Tejada and Seo had been consistent (other than Tejada's relief appearance), under 8 may be to look into.
Also, like Cards/Marlins under 8-1/2 if rain doesn't stop the game.

I am checking out everything I can on this game, and the only thing I can think of is that if there is a downpour after say 3-4 innings and the starters can't go any longer, the Phillies will lay a whooping on the Mets bullpen.

Well I sure don't doubt youve thought about this one.lol The Mets do look like the right call, but looks a bit scetchy at that small price. You may be on to something with the rain. I'm staying away.GL

He must be thinking that if it isn't broke - don't fix it.

Well, it's broke!!!!!!!! and they proved it in SF.

we can't expect the Mets' bullpen to do much either. This game is going to be a blowout as soon as Seo leaves the game.
