The winners will be determined by the total number of points accrued based on each week's picks.
WIN = 2 pts, PUSH = 1 pt, LOSS = 0 pts

• 40% of the pool for 1st place

• 6% of the pool for 3rd place
• 2.5% of the pool for 4th thru 11th place
• 1% of the pool for 12th thru 20th place
• A last prize of $5,000 will be awarded, must play each week to qualify!

This policy also holds same for the $5,000 last place prize. </TD></TR><TR vAlign=top><TD>6)</TD><TD>Lines will be posted on Tuesdays and will close Sundays at 1:00pm ET. In cases when there are Thursday or Saturday games all 5 selections need to be made prior to game time. SERIOUS QUESTION:

Is there any way of REALLY knowing wether these contests are on the up & up? what I mean is, how do we know that the software cannot be tampered with?

I am no way, no way, I must stress this, suggesting that this is the case in the CARIB contest,

HOWEVER,

I was really considering sending them the 250$ for this contest, however, I am skeptical.

Would like it if y'all would share thoughts.

as long as all picks can be seen by 1 pm , i dont see anything possibly being tampered with.


my question is this .. is first place 70,000 or not ?

is says guaranteed , but then says based on 700 entries

good point, it would be quite a Task checking into all that though, also, I am not sure if the software does allow you to see everyones picks...

Believe it harder to notch a top 5 finish due to some possible "insider" munipulation.

I will pass on this contest.

so in other words, in answer to my initial question, you are not 100% confident in the 'ethics' of the contest?

I did notice that rule # 7 seems to protect the player....
