Wednesday was another lukewarm avg day but feel Wednesday could be outstanding so lets get to it.
Arizona +130 (Vasquez) vs San Diego (Chan Ho Park)....If Arizona has any chance of catching Padres, this is a must win. Padres scored 5 runs on Tuesday off of limited but timely hitting. Arizona bats especially the lh ones of Gonzo and Green will get it done to get back somewhat into the NL West race.
St. Louis +100 (Suppan) vs Florida (Vargas)- Even in victory last night, was not impressed with Marlins. Cards have a lot of value here in fact not laying big money. Cards sometimes struggle vs facing pitchers for first time so game may be low scoring but feel Cards magic continues in Florida and they get it done.
Philly/NYMets over 7 (Pedro vs Myers)....Like the same reasoning as last night, feel that the importance of this series will drive the runs over 7 with gaining control of wild card on the line. I have a small lean to Philly as good value with Myers pitching but will only play over right now.
Chicago White Sox -103 (Hernandez) vs Texas (Loe)....Great performance by McCarthy in Game 2 last night as I for one really didn't think he had it in him. El Duque will follow it up as Sox looking to gain momentum leading into weekend series at US Cellular vs Indians.
Seattle +143 (King Hernandez) vs Yankees (Randy Johnson)- Johnson like Schilling has been average of late and really like the way King is pitching. Feel this may be a look ahead game for Yanks with weekend series in Oakland coming up!
Angels -110 (Lackey) vs Oakland (Blanton)....Crucial game for Angels in this one as a loss takes them 3 games out of first and possibly 2 out of wildcard. Expect tight game but feel Angels season may be on the line in this one and I like Scoscia to have the troops regrouped to perform in this one.
NYYankees/Seattle o 7.5u25....Though two capable pitchers are going in this one, feel both will give up some runs to get over the number.
Boston/TB under 10.5....Both of these teams are due to struggle with the bats and feel Tampa will oblige with the knuckle baller on the mound which usually helps in stopping an offensive streak
