If so, what books? Also, do any other books still permit such transfers? And my last question....on a book to book transfer, does the receiving book give you a bonus as though you are posting up directly? Seems like it should since there's no difference in sending money versus transferring it into an account. Thanks.....

Yes, I am pretty sure WSEX still does transfers with a few books.

Yes, the majority of books will allow you to collect a bonus from an incoming transfer from another book.
