I sent a transfer to my book and they informed me that Western Union is backlogged and is still clearing items from last night. Anyone else have this problem??

And I know there are other options to send money...just seeing if any one else has this priblem??

stalling technique, they are checking you're history with them before they come after you. Leave the country now before it is too late.


Seriously never had that happen before.

nope have not used the outdated dinosaur WU in over 4 yrs...Neteller is the only way to go IMO

Bet365 pulled that on me once. Had me waiting all day and part of the afternoon. Same reason. Personally, I didn't think it was Western Union.

I dont see what advantage a book would have in doing it on purpose myself.

WU is a complete joke and will cause you more problems than you want if you use them often over a long term basis. They were kind enough to include me on their "government watch list"

That sounds to me like it is the agent that your book uses to clear their Western Union deposits is backed up. Western Union probably had the money there in a few minutes. If you call Western Union or check Western Union.com, I'd bet the money is available to be picked up. Your book just uses an agent that is very slow. Never send a Western Union to a book using your own name, address or phone #. Western Union will flag you.
