we had a winner with only the one play yesterday and will try to do the same today. it is very rare that the xxx play is a dog, but today i really like its chances. x = 1 unit.

phillies +105 xxx-rated.

leiber and glavin have been equally inconsistant. one week they look like the ace of the staff, and in some cases within the same game, they fall apart. having said that, in a slug-of-war i like the phillies. this game might get into the bullpens early, by the 6th inning or so. i think htat favors the phillies as well. i know alot of ppl are in love with the fact that the mets have a great home record and a great record against the phillies...but none of that matters as the phillies win this one in a high scoring affair.
