Have been thinking about this for a few years, but since it happened to me this week, I figured I'd ask the question to see what everyone else does:
When do you place your wagers during a typical college week? I would imagine that most "sharp" players get down early, and the "square" player gets down late (not going to get into the "what constitues a sharp/square" argument here) in the week. However, I have also seen some people that wait for a line movement a certain way and get down the other way when the line moves. How many people do that? Do you have any indicators that you use to determine if the line will actually move your way? If the line doesn't move your way, or moves the other way, I am assuming that most have a line that they won't cross, in that the value is lost.
I've had a few movements against me, since I got down early (doesn't mean that I am sharp though, LOL). One is costing me almost a FG (Idaho), and I am wondering if I wouldn't be better off waiting on games as the year proceeds.
Just trying to pick brains here,
