Sportscapper MLB Play for Friday – Milwaukee Brewers
The Padres edged the Brewers last night 6-5, but will be hard-pressed to duplicate that result against the tough Chris Capuano at Miller Park tonight.
Capuano is off a 7 inning, 4 run loss to Atlanta at home his last time out, but had looked dynamite in his prior 2 starts in which he allowed the opposition just 2 earned runs over 15 innings, while striking out 16 batters along the way. The Brewers have been able to win 10 of Capuano's last 14 starts, and should be able to get something going against Brian Lawrence who is just 5-7 on the road this season with an over 4 ERA.
San Diego is just 2-9 the last 11 times Lawrence has trotted to the hill, so lay a little wood and back the Brew Crew this evening at home.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
