I am liking the O's to get some underdog wins in games 1 and 3 of this series at Boston. Red Sox just swept the D-Rays, and are getting all the love because they have the best home record in the majors, including 19 of their last 20 at Fenway, and whatever their streak of scoring at least 7 runs is currently.
But the O's are 15-10 at Boston over the last couple seasons, 4-2 this year. They have finally cut loose Ponson, benched Raffy (hopefully he won't play agian before Monday b/c of his supposed injured leg) and Sammy the automatic Out Sosa is on the DL as well. Without Raffy's earplugs in the cleanup spot and Sosa's normal 0 fer in the 6th spot, the O's have actually won 2 straight.
Tonight facing a lefty - Dinardo making his first start for Boston. O's are about .500 against lefties this year. Projected pitchers for game 3 Lopez has pitched well vs Boston, and another lefty, Wells is scheduled to be back from his suspension for the Sox
I am on the O's at +145 in game 1, and +205 for the series
