Ken Griffey Jr. was suppose to be the guy to catch Hank Aaron some day, after losing 1,300 at bats due to various leg injuries over the past 5 yrs, talks of 755 homers have long been forgotten....

Now though Junior appears to be back, and will make a strong run at 600 homers now...:103631605

I'm happy for him. The guy never used steroids and was more dominant when he was thinner and didn't lift weights at all. As he aged and put on weight, he became more injury prone. Maybe he has figured it out now.

I agree VT, Junior's body never changed...

He may be the most natural ballplayer of alltime, the Roberto Clemente of his time, graceful ,sweet swing, defense, power ,speed, he had it all....

And as we're seeing when his legs are healthy, he's still pretty good too!

I have more respect for Jr. as a player & a man, than any other MLB player today. Don't really know but seems like a nice guy also.
