Sorry I didn't post about Seo for the Mets but I had some things to take care of.

SFG -110 over AZ
Cain/Ortiz

As far as the Giants vs. Dbacks go, I'm always reluctant to bet heavily on a sweep for a team on the road. But following this series I see that the Giants really have been doing much better than the Dbacks.

The reason this line is not more toward the Giants is because of Cain. At first inspection I felt the Giants were putting him in here because they were willing to give up one game of the series after winning the first 2 games of the series. However fellow poster Omni is high on this new pitcher and on second inspection I have to agree that he pitched well his first time out.

The thing that puts this over the edge for me is that Ortiz is pitching for the Dbacks. Sure he won his last game against SD but he has been just plain horrible. Add in the fact that the AZ bullpen has a 6.25 ERA and I think we have another winner here.

Good luck!

Adding:

CWS -2.5 +212 over Det
Bonderman/Garland
I'm throwing this one in here kind of as a lark, just something to watch for. In all reality I probably won't bet the -2.5 RL. Instead I'll probably bet the -1.5 RL +136. The White Sox at home have just been destroying the Tigers. The reason I won't go for the -2.5 RL is because of Garland who has been inconsistent.

Col -123 over LAD
Jackson/Day
Rocks have found their bats. Dodgers haven't.

I am sorry for using the "R" word - and NOTHING EL

Glad you came to the same conclusion.

One can look at why at team should win game, and say that Zona could win because the Giants are throwing a rookie on the mound (who lost his last time out), and Zona is at home, and avoiding the sweep.

But if you look for which team should LOSE the game, here's what you can come up with.

* Giants could lose if Cain does the rookie thing and blows it.
* Giants could just plain not hit

BUT

* Zona could get shut down by a solid rookie they've never seen before.
* Zona could just not hit well and lose (Don't forget both these team suck RE win/lose records, so either side could blow it)
* Ortiz with his over 12 ERA in his last three could melt down and give the Giants lots of runs.

There are others, but if you put all the reasoning side by side, you come up with much better arguements for a Giants win.

The next question becomes price. Price being only -107, it's not an issue. Basically a pick the winner with a little vig thrown in.

SF wins in a close one!

SD loses and the White Sox win by 2. I'm glad I didn't take that 2 1/2 RL. Colorado also wins so I got 2-1 today.
