I 'd bet on pool in middle school. Liars poker from 6th grade on with family. Some football with friends 8th and on. Started playing stock options my senior year of high school. Horses sophmore year and on in a big way....Quite an education.

in 4th grade I started a football contest with numbers and picking the final score closest won the pot. $0.10 an entry game for the vikes games and $0.05 an entry for PAckers games. After 6 weeks 4th grade teacher shut it down. but it got me so much attention from my peers I continued to use gambling to get attention. I think that is how I got hooked on it to be honest. That and watching the 1975 Ky Derby having no idea what horse racing was and picking Foolish Pleasure in the post parade and him winning (What a name ie Gambling is a Foolish pleasure)

from that it went to flipping quarters and daily baseball betting with a few guys. Then later parlay cards, then poker games, then daily betting with a bookie, then taking wagers off and on, then VEGAS trips, then off shore then today!

I remember playing the parlay cards in highschool also

Better yet. I remember towards the end of high school we had ping pong tournaments and people would bet on who would win, odds and all. I never felt so much pressure in my life to perform. Really gave you some juice.

the skins and i gave it to them as a pickem, they couldn't buy milk for a week
