Hey C_hugg....longtime no chat. Man, I-bettor seems like decades ago.

I actually do think the 'Horns lose next week. Don't get me wrong....what Vince & Co. did last bowl season was fairly impressive, but one of these days Big 12 coaches will figure out they need QB's......not atheletes.

Relax.....it's early, and both teams tonight psyched themselves out so bad, they couldn't do a thing right.

Texas looks good, but they've played no one-same with USC. Lotta football left folks. Just look at how many players broke bones & went out for the year this weekend.

These early season rankings are useless...there are a few teams I think could give USC a run including (but not limited to):

Florida
Georgia
Texas

Miami and Florida State both have defenses that would keep them in the game against the Trojans if they can get better QB play...and they will by the end of the season when their young QBs have game experience.

Great defenses will keep people in games and there are a few great defenses out there this season.

LSU and Ohio State are also in the mix, should LSU survive Tempe without an warmup, or Ohio State take down Texas in Columbus.

before we cancel the season and give USC the title again - please realize who they played - HAWAII

and this HI team is NOWHERE near the same as past teams. this weekend when MSU hands HI their heads one more time that will take away some of the USC win and its meaning

trust me - we could take all of the people at the recent bash - put them in pads and we could go out and beat Hawaii - and probably by a decent margin

after the game our HC, Fishhead, would probably wanna be doused with Beer and Champagne instead of Gatorade

the Cal QB breaking his leg on a real CHEAP SHOT will hurt Cal's chances of beating USC but USC still has to play AT Oregon and Autzen is one of the TOUGHEST places to play. the fans are literally on top of the field and it is one of the more underrated "tough" places to play. and while ND did play Pitt and their braindead coach Dave Wannstedt - it looks like ND and Weis won't be a pushover. finally - don't discount USC's last 2 games - Fresno State and UCLA. FSU won't win but they will hang around and if UCLA can also get around its braindead coach, they, too, could do something

any team wanting to win it this year better PRAY USC does NOT make the Title game - for that would be played AT Pasadena - making it literally a home game for USC and we saw what that was like 2 years ago for LSU. if USC plays in the Rose Bowl for the title - Congrats to USC for being the 1st school to 3-peat

Iowa, OSU, FSU, Texas, Florida, LSU, all have a shot at beating USC. and ND...ummm

least we get those assholes at South Bend. Weis is going to take a dump on someone.
