Numerous players and coaches have jitters in week 1...Alot of coaches keep games closer than it should bc they dont want to show too much of their playbook early in the season....Does anyone think these spreads are over inflated due to week 1 performances?

South Carolina +16.5 or 17 vs Georgia (Seems alot of pts for this rivalry)
Notre Dame +7 vs Michigan (This spread was 14.5 a week ago)
Iowa State +8.5 vs Iowa (It was Ball State)

I am looking to play SC, Michigan, and Iowa State this Saturday. Any others?

On a side note, I think they have the Clemson +1.5 Maryland spread about right but I suspect Maryland will be the dog by weekend due to square $ coming on Clemson due to AM victory and close Navy victory.

TV games will always inflate/deflate lines. Notice how all three teams you talk of were on TV last week and won big.

In the case of the IOWA-IOWA ST. game, the line has edged higher because of not so much what Iowa did last week, but what Iowa State didn't do.

I didn't see the game, but my friends in Iowa said ISU looked very ordinary at best.

Without a doubt the Notre Dame spread has dropped after the Golden Domers came out looking like the 1992 49ers... Michigan will be ready, I expect Michigan to cover this number.

I would be careful with Navy they only have 7 returning starters from last year.Stanford has quite a few more weapons then Maryland.

I went to Illinois St and still live here...they are not very good at all and are I-AA team at that! Was expecting a 52-0 blowout from Iowa St. Doesn't bode real well for them going into Iowa game!

Pennsylvania State didn't exactly come out on fire either...

Still ticked they gave up that turnover late in the half to blow my 1st half wager with 4 secs left!

PSU is absolutely terrible on offense...I won the under but lost my 1st half wager -11 too... They better get things worked out or they will be in for some
6-4 games again. I put M.Robinson up there with Patterson and Weatherford as the worst performances this weekend.
