Give Arizona the nod tonight at Pittsburgh. I see no reason to lay wood with an untested hurler, and that is just what Paul Maholm is. Both the Diamondbacks and the Pirates are toting losing streaks into this game, but if you are giving me a choice, I will have to back Javier Vazquez who is capable of shutting this struggling Pittsburgh team out.
Vazquez does own the D-Backs lone series win over the Bucs this season, working 7 innings of 2 run ball back in May, and I like his chances tonight to pick up another "W" tonight.
